Who We Are

Community Church is a warm , safe, and nurturing place to worship and explore faith. We come from many faith backgrounds, and some from no faith background. The diversity enriches us and teaches us to be open-minded.

We share our lives as well as our faith, raising our children iand supporting each other in an intergenerational “village” environment. We take “living faith” very seriously, and offer diverse opportunities for exercising compassion and working for social justice outside the walls of our church. Our fellowship is rich. We are a community in many dimensions.

Community Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA, a denomination which strongly upholds the freedom (and responsibility) of conscience of each individual. We have also recently affiliated with the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists.
