SOCIAL JUSTICE/VOLUNTEERING

Care for others in the name of Christ is part of our heritage. With our diverse outreach efforts, it remains an important part of who we are today.

In addition to our financial gifts to local, national and international efforts, we offer church members and community members many opportunities for personal involvement, including providing food or service at the Good News Soup Kitchen, tutoring and mentoring through either our own program or two Chicago programs, and joining in occasional work days.

Particular emphasis for our social justice efforts is on children and families in need.
