Baptist Family Mission
We can always reach
out further together than we can alone. In partnership with
other churches through American Baptist Churches—USA, the
Community Church’s outreach extends around the country and
throughout the world. Since our local churches are autonomous
and independent, the primary reason American Baptist churches
choose to associate is for our shared mission work.
Our special interest missionary is Lauren
Bethell who began the New
Life Center in Thailand, rescuing girls from prostitution
and giving them a community of support and skills to succeed.
Lauren’s work has expanded beyond Thailand. Now headquartered
in Prague, Lauren provides new lives for women internationally.
In addition to our own mission work trips, through our American
Baptist family, youth are able to attend church camps, national youth conferences, and join Xtreme
Teams for mission work.
